I see a few games that I can't resist:
Providence -1
I believe Notre Dame is not a bad team, in fact they have performed well recently beating some good teams - Cuse, and CT, but they havent been consistent enough for me as prior to taht they had lost to BC, Pitt twice, Cuse, and at rutgers (but everyone loses there).
Providence did well against BC, Nova, and Cuse, but dropped a couple at Virginia Tech and Seton Hall. Before that they won at Uconn and earlier in the season they almost won at Texas...
I'll try my luck with Providence. Traditionally this would be the time they slow down to a crawl but goign against my better judgement I'm gonna take a chance here on the road team.
Pitt 1st half -3.5
I dont have any reason to believe there will be a letdown here - Georgetown thinks they could have won vs cuse and that is what will kill them here I believe. I'm thinking about the -7 for the game also but I will hold off because I hate high numbers. Pitt knows they can win, and eve if Georgetown keeps it close I think at this time of the year when teams are confident with who they are - they wont necessarily try to pound the crap out of their opponents - winning is really all that counts.
OkState -1
This team has won in tougher situations and there must be something I'm missing for them to not be favored by more here. Taking OkState -1.
TTU +2.5
Recently both of these teams played KState - Nebraska lost and TTU won. True TTU is "reeling" on the road, and true Nebraska beat Kansas and Missouri on their home court, but TTU needs to pick it up and they won't be taking Nebraska for granted. I attribute part of Nebraska's success due to the fact that teams aren't expecting them to compete - but I don't believe TTU will fall into that trance.
NC 1st Half -3
NC Beat ginny at home by 19 and I can see them winning this game by 10 pretty easy. However I'm more comfortable with the lower number early on than the bigger number later in the game. Its just the way I am and thats why I like NC to be up by at least 4 at half. However - I realize that when these two met at NC, it went the other way - sort of - NC was only up by 2 at half... I'll be watching this one close, if the NC lead is only 2 tonight I'll be taking a close look at the 2nd half line. Hopefully i wont need to.
